JIB is a private introductions club. Membership is granted by application or by a member’s vouch, always subject to verification. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer of financial, legal or investment services.

This site and its operation are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be subject to the courts of [CIUDAD], Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.

Privacy Policy

The house knows every member; members only know each other when both want to.

Who is responsible

The data controller is [NOMBRE COMPLETO / RAZÓN SOCIAL], [NIF], reachable at apply@[DOMINIO]. This policy is written under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018.

What we collect, and why

Application data — the entry route you claim, your one-line credential, and a private email address. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Application fee — payment is processed by Stripe; the house never sees or stores your card details. Legal basis: contract performance.
Verification documents — reviewed by a human, once, to confirm your entry criteria. They are destroyed immediately after review and are never stored, copied or archived. What remains is a single internal note: verified, or not. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interest in the integrity of the club.
Voice call — the final 15-minute interview is voice only, never video, and is not recorded.
Postal address (optional) — requested only after admission, only to send your member card and welcome letter: personal, office, or a PO box — or none at all. It is used exclusively for club correspondence and deleted after dispatch if you ask. Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).

What we never do

We never sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
We never reveal your identity to another member. Identities are disclosed only when both parties choose to reveal themselves, at the same time.
We do not read members’ conversations. The house opens doors. It never listens behind them. This is a binding policy commitment of the club’s operation.
We send no marketing. Only two kinds of email can ever reach a member: an introduction, or the monthly logbook.

Processors

The house relies on a small number of service providers acting as processors under art. 28 GDPR: [Stripe (pagos), Tally (formulario), Cloudflare/Netlify (alojamiento), proveedor de email]. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, transfers rest on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Site analytics are cookieless and aggregate only; no advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind. This site sets no cookies requiring consent.

Retention

Verification documents: not retained — destroyed upon review.
Unsuccessful applications: application data deleted after 12 months (you may reapply after one year; the door remembers your name).
Member data: kept while membership lasts, then only what tax and commercial law require (invoicing records), for the legally mandated period.

Your rights

You may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection at any time by writing to apply@[DOMINIO]. If you believe your rights have not been honoured, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority (AEPD, aepd.es).

Fees & Refunds

The application fee pays for the review, not the outcome. It is non-refundable.

By paying the application fee you expressly request that the evaluation begin immediately. In accordance with art. 103.a of the Spanish General Consumer Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent.

The founding membership fee is likewise non-refundable. The guarantee is simpler than a refund: a member who is not satisfied does not renew.
